Tivo is one of the well know set top box and it has released lot of new hardware and software in the television entertainment industry.Now TiVo has open the developer channel which is used to create the application for the DVR by all the developers world wide.This is what we are seeing is its really slow improvement now from TiVo. Actually this developer channel could have released long back due to technical difficulty it has finally released now. So the interested developers can access TiVo SDK and simulators to create the TiVo DVR supported application.
Actually the application which is created and certified by TiVo that does not mean that your application will be released.Because at a time only one app can run and at the time TiVo Tv apps will go down.Also the hardware configuration should have 720p pixel resolution with proper display and it should be having 32MB of systems internal memory and 20MB of internal graphics memory. Also it should have 1MB of driver space.Actually still there is no clue on which are tools we have to use and build the image if anybody tried just share your experience here.
