- First thing keep in mind that your mobile phone battery charge is full.So whenever go for upgrade make sure your battery is charged completly and its ready for another one hour.
- Take a backup of all your mobile data and software before upgrade.While taking back uptake all the necessary data from the mobile and save it hard disk.
- check the data connectivity before upgrade.Because while upgrade to new software it will take around 500MB size of data so at the time don't relay on 3G connection.Just take wi-fi and connection for software upgrade.
- Once the above points are verified then go to the software update option and make sure your have scheduled from the server and its available for your model.Dont take any kernal or ICS update from the net.It will spoil your phone.
- Once update is available for your phone then click to upgrade the software and make sure your power cut time in your house. Because once the upgrade starts it should continue until its complete the Upgrade.If its down in the meanwhile then it will start from the beginng or it will crash the mobile OS.
